The Bed Bug Horror Show

Bed Bug Bites

Bed Bug Bites

When going to the movies, beware. The true horror may not be on the silver screen but lurking under your seat. A Florida couple reported bites after visiting a theater in Hollywood, Florida. In a separate incident, two women reported bites. The movie theater did not confirm nor deny the presence of bed bugs. However, the did say that pest control services were contracted. The bites, which doctors diagnosed as bed bug bites did not happen in their homes. Additional complaints have been lodged about a theater in Norfolk. Hopefully the problem is limited and not spreading.

Movie thearters are susceptible to bed bug infestations. They are dark and have many crevices that could harbor bed bugs. Bed bugs are often most active in the late night hours, times that some theaters show movies. Local reporters tried to investigate the claims but the theater personnel would not address the issue.
