Living With Beauty

The Beauty Is Inside
Photo: Marc Lamey

Photographic artist, Marc Lamey, has a new insect themed exhibit entitled, The Beauty Is Inside that displays beetles in a unique manner. His series of photographs features models displaying brightly colored beetles on the inside of their mouths. The models use brightly colored lipstick that contrasts with the beetle color. The beetles he chose have dazzling often iridescent colors making an effect that is compelling. While some people may shudder at the thought of putting an insect in their mouth, Lamey assures us, “Scary ? not really it had been a fun experience for each and any model and it is going to continue.” Money quote:

I like the contrast between the red tones and the green or blue colors
