An Insect Art Hunt

Ant

Tile depicting and ant.
Art Work: Cassy Gilbertson

Insect collectors relish nature hikes in the quest for specimens. Art aficionados most often find art in indoor venues. The Art Center in Jamestown, ND is hosting an art scavenger hunt that combines art appreciation with a nature hike. The scavenger hunt features 12 tiles depicting insects by Artist Cassy Gilbertson.  Clues as to the whereabouts of the tiles are released to the public and the public can claim art pieces they find. Participants search for art and commune with nature at the same time.  Those who claim the tiles can admire both the art and the featured insects.
