The Explorers Club is dedicated to the exploration of Planet Earth and beyond. The club welcomes explorers from all countries and all disciplines including entomology. The club honors people who have made significant discoveries and contributions at its annual dinner, typically held in March. In recent years, the dinner has sold out well in advance. The dinner promotes the exploration of exotic cuisine, exotic foods that appeal to elite explorers. Recent menus have included a variety of edible insects and other arthropods. It is not surprising that the dinner would sell out.
