Scorpions Decorate Fingernails

The Miss Uñas beauty salon in Durango, Mexico has launched a fingernail fashion statement. To provide that exotic and dangerous look, immature scorpions, Centruroides suffusus, are glued to fingernails as decorations. Care must be used in handling the venomous scorpions which can deliver a painful sting. Prior to attachment, the scorpions are killed.

According to INQUISITOR, customers are traveling from the US to Mexico for this unique look.  The nails are certain to get second looks and rave reviews from your favorite entomologist.
